After taking a leap of faith to pursue our dreams, we began building our business in the summer of 2019, with an ambition to develop, produce and sell premium quality YORKSHIRE PASTA.
Since then, we have been busy sourcing ingredients, fine-tuning recipes, carrying out market research and have even built a food production unit from scratch!
Having spent many hours studying the high quality pasta producers of Italy, often family run artisan businesses themselves, we have learnt, practised and refined their traditional methods. Combining these techniques with our locally milled wheat flour ensures that we create the most superb tasting and perfectly textured YORKSHIRE PASTA every time.
So far on this incredible journey, we have made life-long friends, gathered invaluable knowledge and experience and eaten a LOT of pasta. We cannot wait to see what the future holds and are so excited to share our products with you with our friends at Seasons fruit & Veg
We source our wheat flour from a nearby mill. Knowing our miller ensures that we can get the best quality flour and we receive fresh deliveries every week. Using a mill that is on our doorstep, not only supports a fellow local business, but helps us to reduce our food miles and carbon footprint. We use green energy. We have solar panels down at Yorkshire Pasta HQ where energy is collected and utilised for the business. Paper packaging.
A key area of development for Yorkshire Pasta was how to avoid using plastic packets, yet keep our products fresh. We worked with multiple suppliers to source and develop a paper solution that fits with our brand beliefs. We love the look and feel of our 100% recyclable bags. Sustainable. We are continuously working to be as sustainable as possible, from sealing our cardboard boxes with paper tape to feeding any food waste to happy cattle
